Originally from England, Mr Charles Devenish arrived in Australia in 1959 via Calcutta with only 25 cents in his pocket, working his passage way as a mess boy on a Norwegian freighter. He then started his jewellery empire here in Perth, Western Australia, in 1963. It was his passion to have a jewelry house that offers exclusive and original pieces created here in Perth as well as sourcing exquisite jewels internationally.

In 1997, Mr. Devenish closed the doors of his elegant King Street premises to focus on other projects. Subsequently, in 1999, the Jewelers were born again with a new Management and Sales team.

The new Managing Director who had been in the jewellery and diamond business for over 30 years and awarded an Honorary Ambassador from the Antwerp Diamond Council was chosen. Mr. Charles Devenish chose him because of his dedication and vision of being one of Perth’s leading jewellers.
